safety

for me,

the connotation of home is comfort

the connotation of love is beautiful

the connotation of safety...

is you.

now, for me, ive never felt safe in the arms of a man unless it were my fathers

for me, i thought safety never existed outside the four walls of my room.

i believed, that being safe only applied to being with your family

never friends, because people are cruel.

my mind took a turn

it rearrange its beliefs and realized that safety is not only in the arms of family

safety is in the arms of you too.

safety is being with you, wherever i am

safety with you is knowing nothing will ever happen to me while you're there

safety with you is believing that you are my superman and you will rescue me from whatever comes our way.

your arms are my safehouse

your body is my sanctuary

your touch is my pleasure

your mind is my sanity

you are mine

and i am yours

and i will always know that safety is with you

so now, when i think of the word safety, i think of your arms

because there is no place i would rather be.
