Saturn

I still taste your skin on my lips.

Count the days since you've held my hips.

Long for the touch that used to be yours.

Remember conversations behind the closed doors.

Ache when I can't picture your face.

Flash back to our fights and violent disgraces.

Now you've left me here in the dust of this town.

Until another knight comes to replace my old frown.

Even then I'll know heartache, distress, and despair.

I'll know that he'll leave and go who knows where?

Left alone once again I'll repeat this old pattern.

Crying ice water tears befit to spin around Saturn.

This poem is about:
Me
