Save Me

The sun comes out through the window

Waking up to the smell of bacon and eggs

She takes her prescription meds, so tired she feels like she wants to say in bed

Packing her books in her bag, but wearing her old clothes because she cant afford the new fads, wanting to be happy instead of waking up sad

People pushing and shoving, yelling and laughing at her

She feels cold and alone

She only wants a friend, she made a mistake because she thought happiness was only in men, she says, "Save Me!"

She was blamed for what she had done now and then, her hand reaching out for desperation

She didnt know she was God's creation

No outlet in her life no fun

The only thing she wanted to do was to end her life with a gun

But something hit her

A voice was speaking

She saw the Bible

Now she realized Jesus was reliable

She raised her arms and gave Him praise, giving Him her life to lead her throughout the maze

They aimed bullets at her chest, but they didnt know God was her bullet vest

Save Me was her desperate call

Now its not

The Bible was her tool, washing herself in the Holy Spirit pool

Looking to God because He knows what to do

She died and she went to heaven

Now she was one of God's children

Alot of people said, "Im glad she left us"

She didnt care, she was dancing at the throne of Jesus
