A School Day...

A school day usually starts with “The Pledge of Allegiance.”

Book bags weigh a ton from all the homework.

C.A.B. meetings are on almost every Wednesday.

Detention is held during lunch every day but hardly anyone attends.

English with Ms. Morley is my favorite part of the day.

Fire drills happen every so often.

Gym is where we play dodge ball.

History is always fun with Ms. Yanik.

Intelligence is measured through tests.

“Jack of all trades is a master of none.”

Kindergarten with Ms. Mayerhoefer was indeed memorable.

Lunch is where everyone is satisfied of their hunger.

Math puts most of my class to sleep.

Nurses will send you home if you feel sick.

Organization is the key to success.

P.E.A.R.L.S. is a school for gifted and talented students.

Quizzes are on almost every day of the week.

Regents are in June for Integrated Algebra and Living Environment.

Spanish with Mrs. Mendola is “divertida.”

“Teachers open the door, but you must enter yourself.”

Uniforms are hardly ever worn to school by students.

Vacation is coming in just about two months!

We have to wake up at six in the morning to get ready for school.

“X and Y chromosomes determines your gender,” said Mrs. Imperial.

Yonkers High School has the International Baccalaureate Programme.

Zzzz…I fell asleep during math again!
