Searching

Wed, 04/06/2016 - 16:09 -- DeAsia

Sadly searching, yet finding nothing

In a long journey of sorrow

Sadly waiting, for truly nothing as endless days pass us by.

Lost in darkness, we weep sorrowful cries

Drowning in deep empty pits, we stumble in confusion

Always looking for a speck of light in the dark, we cry

Losing faith

And hope

In the Creator

“For we have suffered for too long", we say.

But when he hears us losing to our own minds

He becomes saddened by our sorrow, as he directs us

towards the right path

Yet do we even notice?

Though we regain faith, we still reign weary eyes towards the heavens

But he still gives us direction when new wander around too long

And gently smiles, as he gives us yet another chance that we take for granted

How sad the human race is.
