Secrets You'll Take To The Grave

Location

You feel guilty, haunted

and it's eating you away.

You think that you can hide it, avoid it

but this guilt is here to stay.

The first step into freedom

is coming out with the truth.

Know that I will listen,

please know that I won't leave you.

There's no secret too dark and heavy

that my own heart cannot bear.

I can take your burden upon my shoulders

and show that you're not alone.

Let the words flow through your heart

and exit near your lips.

There's nothing worse than holding back,

it will cause a kind of madness.

I hope that you believe me,

you can tell me anything.

If you want to talk it out, I'm here.

The truth will set you free.
