Seeing Your Crush Do Something Unforgivable

Location

The light of a ghost

Spilling violently down your cheek

Stars spin in their eyes

Trees sprout from the bridge of your nose

A mountain in the sun

A slice of this light

Cuts me into quarters

Stretched across the hemisphere,

I see all things,

I hear all murmurs.

But you, with your destructive hands,

Transform stardust to dustbins.

I don't mean to be rude but at least two of these lines are stolen directly from a poem I wrote before the date you posted this poem: "Slice of light" and "stardust to dustbins". Maybe an insanely freaky coincidence but I would appreciate it if you didn't use my original words in a poem that you post as your own. Thanks! - Kaitlin Noel
