Separate Yourself

Separate Yourself

This has not been an easy decision/ but keeping you in my life hinders my mission/ I was put here

to serve Christ/ not to be that chick you only call after midnight/ I understand why you were confused

many girls don't know their self-worth/ but I'm a grown women so they'll be no back and forth/

Proverbs 25-26 she is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come/ she

speaks with wisdom and faithful instruction is on her tongue/ I may be young/ but that describes me/

so I had to make the choice that would make the devil flee/ you can't be friends with everybody I

needed to separate/ I started to see the light that was restored dissipate/ now that's not great/so I

began to look at the bigger picture/ why am I hanging out with people who spend more time

tweeting on twitter/ than people in their word reading Scriptures/ these people aren't my friends

certainly not worried about serving the lord/ since I serve the lord I know he’ll have me on the cover

of Forbes / all I can do is pray for the ones I’ve had to leave behind/ but me making to heaven is the

main thing on my mind/I was put here for a special purpose/our lord and savior Jesus Christ is who

I'm meant to please and service
