Serenity and Sun

Just the other day,

When I was feeling rather gay,

Watching the ocean waves,

It changed something in me,

Some call it inner beauty.

For before I had none,

No serenity, no sun.

It was a dim place in here,

Full of hate, full of fear.

But as I sit here and watch the ocean waves,

I let the tide take me out,

Where the waves don't shout,

Serenity and sun.
