A Serenity of Marriage

A face of beauty that bewilders-

On and on did it kill her.

He shouted that she’s only his,

Yet her spouse ended up making her a Ms.

She carried shoulders that matched her gown,

And soon did her worshipped Father come down.

Those bracelets begged and cried-

Her gleaming eyes just dried.

The silk of her sin,

Just ended up looking like deerskin.
