Shadow of the Meadow

I was broken beyond repair

my heart dissapated into air.

I needed to stop and pause

and there I stared at the night stars.

They glimmered down the meadow

where soon I could see my shadow

longing to see more beautiful days

blood still pulsing in my veins.

But the I hung in a noose,

I never knew what I could lose.
