She suffers in silence. Her tears unseen by the human eye, Her screams unheard by the human ear. When she walks into school, it is everything she fears. They call her names and they think it is all fun and games. Fat, foolish, friendless, Lonely, loser, lame, No matter what they call her, the names all hurt the same. The words hit her like a jack hammer to the street, tearing down her confidence that was once so concrete. They tear her down ‘til there’s nothing left, At school she is strong, but at home, she wept. She suffers in silence. Words cut deeper than they seem. Who knew people could be so mean? She contemplates if life is worth living, She is sick and tired of giving. Tired of giving life all she’s got. At this time, She feels like she cannot. Cannot, cannot go on. She just wishes... she was…gone. She reaches up to her dresser drawer for that bottle of pills she kept so close. Now, it’s just the matter of taking just the right dose. She kept them there just in case, because she is now in a reality she cannot face. She searched her mind but happiness she could not find. She flipped the lid open because now, just seemed like the right time. She suffered in silence.
