But leaving you would break me in two

When I all wanted was a love that would consume me

Repeated from my mouth like a daily routine 

You come home say works tough and expect me to clean 

You don’t care about me all you care about is the green

Because you say all a women’s good for is to obey a mans needs

 

I’m not afraid anymore of you leaving me

Because when you realize what you’ve lost 

You’ll be pleading for me 

Begging me to stay hoping I don’t leave 

But it will be too late because I’ll be thinking of me

I’ll be thinking of all the times that you said I wasn’t strong enough 

And now feeling like I’m tougher than tough 

not scared of anyone’s bluff

And all the times that you said I’d never find  no one better than you 

And now I’m swimming oceans across the country with my new boo

At the end of the day these are all dreams 

Because  a wife can not just leave
