Shut Up And Listen

When I sit you down to talk I mine as well be the kitchen wall, you never look me straight in the eye or when you do you don't realize that what you're doing is affecting my life. All the jokes you say while I'm gone, or the things you say to my friends' moms, it's crazy huh? How cruel you can be, But oh yeah that's right you're blind, so you can't see how this is affecting me.

I'm Just A Kid. Age Isn't Nothing. I'll Turn 18 In August But I Still Won't Have Real Access To The Adult World, Just A Little Sample. A lot Of Kids Where I'm From Don't Even Make It This Far. Like "You Going To College? For What?" I Ask Myself That Question Too, Seeing How The Economy Is Nowadays, Because Honestly What Can College Do For Me, That Really I Can't Do For Myself. But It's That Mindset Right There That Has A lot Of People Stuck In Life. I'm Just A Kid. Age Isn't A Thing. And What Else To Do While You're Young Right? I'm Just Trying To Beat The Odds
