Silver Moonlight

The silver moonlight shines

On the hills powdered with white.

Its glow casts

A brilliant sparkle,

And the flakes of purity

Dance in the wind.

The silver moonlight shines

When the lonely howl

Of the wolf’s call

Resonates in the valley.

The silver moonlight shines

On the train

Whose distant horn

Pierces through the vast landscape.

The silver moonlight shines

On the brook

Who has rocks that are smoothed,

And the ice crystals glint.

The silver moonlight shines

On a single feather

That has laid for many days

In undisturbed peace.
