Simple Bliss

I breathed, in and out, the soft smell of freshly fallen snow tricking my senses.

And as the sun beamed brightly, brilliantly, and gloriously, I smirked, even though it was only ever so slightly.

My toes wriggled in my warm boots lined in soft silky fur and I snuggled deeper into the abyss of my woolen coat.

The snow fell around me, one here, one there, and my face scrunched in pleasure as one hit my eyelid.

A soft kiss from the goddess of snow.

There I stood.

There I shall always stay.
