Sky

Location

If just for a day everything stopped,

Would everything fall apart?

If just for a moment everyone thought,

Is this what we really are?

A million and one things left to do,

And not enough time in the day,

If someone walks up and stops next to you,

And this is what they had to say:

'Look up at the sky and say what you see,

In as few or as many words and you want,

To think that the sky is so vast compared to me,

Oh! How daunting a thought!'

Think for a moment what you would do,

If it was anything in the world you could try,

Would you like to soar through the air or swim in the deep blue,

Or you would like a moment to just look at the sky?

I was asked to tell you one thing I would change,

If ever I was asked to try,

There is only one thing I would like to arrange,

That is for everyone to see the true sky.
