Smile or pain

Which will it be

to speak with a voice

or let action take the lead

Should I go south,

through a maze I know around

or should go north

to maze that looks unbound

Or should I look east to travel west

or stand still to wait for someone to pass

the chices I make will have to pay

It will either bring a smile or pain.
