Life after college, it’s such a blur.
Paying off loans and doing work.
Falling in love along the way.
Exploring new places, doing new things.
Trying escargot in Frances Paris.
Going to Italy, smelling the Mediterranean Sea.
Coming back home and settling down.
Walking down the aisle past the crowd.

Fast forward five years I’m 29.
I’m nice and round, expecting anytime.
The love of my life standing near,
Felling like I can conquer all my fears.
The cries in the night, my new lullaby.
Mud cakes and capes, the new past time.
Experiencing the joy of showing him new things.
Watching him grow becoming free.
Up in the majors, hitting it home.
He’s still my baby, just grown.

Summer days spend camping away.
Visiting Europe exploring new ways.

He’s gone, all on his own.
Just me and my love, staying at home.
Nights spent as a nurse still going strong.
Late nights with my husband,
Nothing can go wrong.

Old and grey smiling away.
The families over laughing and playing.
My dreams come true, I no longer day dream.
I hold my husbands hand smiling, *Snap*
We framed our last shot.
No going back.
