Society (Shakespearean Sonnet)

Flickering eyes, hateful glances they stare

You feel alone in a world full of beings

People whisper amongst, smiles are rare

They control who you are, they hold your strings.

Terrified of rejection, you conform

Your true personality will never suffice

Judgment, restriction are social norm

Brainwashed by their idea of mean and nice.

Opinions are formed, standards placed

Humans roam without sense of humanity

People rebel, their efforts are a waste

Originality equals insanity

Time is not lost, hope is still yet here

Draw up your courage, you only have to care
