Solidarity

Here we flutter, soar, and fly

Abuzz, for all to see, an iridescent sky

Our pride, with which we manage,

Asserting our presence, flags raised high,

We, a chorus of nature, vibrant with wild display

Boisterous, no one will turn a blind eye

Locking hands, joined in solidarity,

We love one another, a lens of daring violet

Women of all types, lips interlocking,

Hearts flit and dance, melodic and harmonious

Two young women, hesitant and shy,

One lesbian, the other bi

Will they find their wings and rise?

We, a chorus of nature, will cheer with loving embrace

Come all, bare the gift with which life provides

The ability to love, we all possess

So don’t be ashamed, we are one

Because your pain is our pain
