Something About You

Location

There is something about you that keeps me going,
I push harder and work faster without even knowing.
I strive and attempt to look nice all the time,
Changing myself for this something on my mind.

Every decision I make is so carefully drafted,
So that if you were watching you'd see what I've crafted.
An image of me with no imperfections,
One I cannot see with a simple reflection.

You bring out my best and bring out my worst,
A simple blessing disguised as a curse.
Struggle as I might I will try to improve,
Against the grain and against the groove.

When looking at you it's hard to compare,
My presence is light, a modest air.
You are special to me and these feelings aren't new,
Out of millions of people, there is something about you.
