The Song of One Made New
I'm held by heavy chains called shame,
Lost and so afraid.
I stand here useless, incomplete,
In desperate need of aid.
Yet in the dark of sin's cold cell,
A light shines bright and true.
Even in my ugliness
He said, "I'll make you new."
He took away my dirty past,
He ransomed me from sin,
And now in Him I'm made flawless
He says that I am His.
