To Sophia:

To Sophia:

I remember the day we met.

The morning sun dwindled away

and noon rose above us.

The wind barely budged the leaves overhead

and clouds dared not speckle the sky.

I was lost in my thoughts.

Divulged in a hidden world

I dared not show to another.

Once, things were monotonous for me

But you were how they changed.

I was a sleeping soul, content

with being listless, but

You trampled your way into my life

making your presence known.

That is why you must hear this:

I Love you, Sophia,

with my entire body and soul.
