The Sorrows of Hamlet

Twas’ the son of the dead king and he acted as a mouse,

The son was in a hurry to talk to his mom’s spouse.

On the son’s way he ran, into Ophelia, Oh man!

The crazy son left her with a broken heart,

Even though she had hoped the son and her would never part.

The Son sounds sorrow filled when he talks about his dear departed dad,

The son feels as if the world is against him, and that’s bad!

When the son sees Ophelia wrapped in the coffin bed,

The son looked onto her white crescent mooned body and shed.

The son then jumped into the coffin clinging to her body,

Knowing that this beautiful serene image had killed herself was gaudy.

Although the son had known life well,

He pondered wondering if he was in for a spell.

The new king was a killer that the son knew for a fact,

But the thought of killing him was very abstract,

He pondered his thoughts before he knew what to do,

A play, the son thought, might just tighten the screw.

As this son realizes what Claudius has done,

He kills him with a swift blow and he knows he has won.

Nothing could be done to save the son from dying,

At least everyone finally knew he had not been lying.
