Sorrows of Solitude

Location

Who is this guy?

I have a vague recollection of his existence,

Seems like he came back with a vengeance,

This guy just told me he took more than a small step forward, but he got his legs shot off,

He said he crawled with his arms until those got cut off,

He said no one picked him up and carried him to his destiny,

I saw his tear stained shirt and I picked it up for him and cleaned his bloody teeth,

I'm reffering to the old me,

I met him in my next life,

He never was the fighting type,

He came to me as a sold soul,

The product of someone else's disposable sorrows,

Knowing me as I was then, I should have left him for dead,

But he needed help getting home,

And I figured "Shoot, at least I should pick him up and carry him to the front steps,"

As I lay him on the couch I sit down to catch my breath,

He said he wanted me to stay forever because he needed someone to trust and I'm the only one left,

I couldn't help him and I left before he could beg and plead

Screw him, I just let him bleed

He should have realized that himself was all he need
