Soulless Windows

Location

Once she opens her eyes, all that she can see is the hopeless filled matter that surrounds her.

She understands what she has done.

There is no taking it back now. They have noticed.

She knows what happens next; she must wait.

She stares into nothing as the silence grows louder and all traces of them are gone.

For now.

She must prepare.

She looks down and wonders what is inside of her, what it is that made her do things that are so wrong, yet feel so right.

After the worst happens, she awakens as if she had been dreaming the whole thing.

She takes one last look, takes his hand, looks into his dead eyes and steps out into the light.
