Spotlight

A prize he sees

A peculiar sight they see

A blind duet

Attention I feel .. Why are we on display

Attention I want but not from them

Faces all around watching the show

Judging, Contemplating, acknowledging this peculiar weird quite odd show

The ringleader is only a host a commentary to the display before them

Put in the spotlight

Am I ever to overcome this brightness blinding me

Halo of light surrounding me or finally

Be shrouded in darkness like a veil to be covered and freed from the eyes

The eyes that look upon my flesh
