The Spring You Left

The Spring You Left

In the spring of the years of long ago ,
You had taken my heart and broken it
To the end of no hope ,
I was so lost in love in floating oceans
Of you that broken my heart in two ,
I walked the road of loneliness, What a cold
Road it was with out you holding me near,
The trees were black where the bark was wet.
I see them yet, in the spring of the year you left
What a mess that year was ,
I cried and I cried I thought I was going to die
With out you by my side ,
Oh darkness ! Oh in vain you came my way !
Oh I am very sick in so much sorrow that you gave
With so much heart aches that wont go away ,
In the fall of the year, in the fall of the year,
My heart cried over and over ,
I walked the road of that cold lonely night you made
Me cry rivers , oceans over you ,
You left me so confused , my poor heart didn't know
What it was going to do with out you ,
The rooks went up with a raucous trill.
I hear them still, in the fall of the year.
You laughed at me when you called me all those names
I felt so a shamed ,
I dared even hearing your name ,
You broke my heart, in little ways ,
Then you broke my heart with no shame in your game ,
Love don't boost to feel that kinda pain .
Oh the rain came that year and it never left my side ,
Oh gray sky with the moon drooping on the Sea looking back at me ,
Oh my troubled reflection remained in the Sea ,
The Year of that spring,
The year you be felled me with all your lies you had in your eyes,
The bark will drip and the birds be calling out with love in mind
But oh not this time !
Loved loved loved , Not no more my mate is no more with me ,
We are no longer together but now the years had past and my
Springs are even better .
