The Squads All Here - Neon Lights and Parking Lots

Oh, how we drank in the moon,

Giddy,

Because we had a car full of gas,

And music,

And an endless night in front of us,

Eternal,

Suggesting at forever.

Drunk laughter,

And Dollar Store candy,

And Rain soaked pavement under neon lights,

Movie stubs in pockets,

Sitting in the dark parking lot, singing to the radio.

Together,

We are untouchable,

No school, or homework, or responsibilities could drag us back to sobriety,

We ran through the empty parking lot under the neon signs,

And rain puddles,

And moon,

Untouchable.
