You push me and taunt me

maybe because your dark past has come to haunt.

Its easier to make fun of me and laugh at my impurities,

rather than face your own insecurities.

You make it a point to bother me everyday

until the day I decide to take my life away.

I'm funny to you because I'm not the same,

but should my differences be a reason to be ashamed?

They say "sticks and stones may break my bones, but words can never hurt me."

Whoever said that definitely lied!

What about all those nights I cried?

And the days that I got my hopes up, well I tried.

But to get knocked down every time I try to be strong

Waking up every single day wondering will this last forever, no? Well how long?

Everyone is laughing but truth be told it could have been you,

so put yourself in my shoes, tell me what would you do?

Instead of being true to yourself, doing what you know is right,

you remain silent and out of sight.

You may not be the bully, but you are just as bad,

so when I die please don't pretend to feel sad!
