Sometimes we hide ourselves

Sometimes we are scared

We hide behind a curtain

We are off the stage

Hidden away where no one sees us

 

Maybe we are worried what others will think

Maybe we do not want others to judge us

We dont wanna be lame

Or be uncool 

 

Sometimes we imagine going on stage

Coming out in front of the curtain

Not caring what others think

Or what they'll say

Because we wanna do something for ourselves

And for others

For all of those who never got the courage 

 

So we do it

We get the courage

We go out on stage

We get in front of the curtain

On center stage where everyone is watching

And the most amazing thing happens

A star appears

 

Our inner talents come out

A talent unique to everyone

One that makes us special

One that makes us a star

Maybe not to others

But for oursleves

 

Because it doesn't matter what they'll say anymore

It matters how we feel

And we are a star

Everyone of us

One that will radiate beauty 

And have an everlasting shine

Our fears are faced
