and a wall is like a structure

because structures are made of walls

but only if we described our structure as something more as just walls

because maybe they would fall

If America will lean on these walls

then America is leaning on names we call

but these aren't the real names, stereotypes we've learned from the media, and fear

fear of oppression, fear of losing power, fear of diversity and fear of not being the best

how can we afford these emotions how can we afford these judgements

how can we afford these walls

who is paying for these walls

what are we gaining from these walls
