STEPPING THROUGH SLOWLY

I am slowly stepping instead of falling for her.

I never learned how to love so instantly.

This feeling is far from what I prefer.

She is like the seasons of winter and summer,

Either cold or warm when needed insistently.

I am slowly stepping instead of falling for her.

At all things love, I am a true amateur.

I cling onto the slightest affection persistently.

This feeling is far from what I prefer.

Years have gone, and I have never been so sure

of my thoughts, though they appear inconsistently.

I am slowly stepping instead of falling for her.

She speaks her mind, thoughts true and pure.

She often smiles, and her laughs are like a symphony.

This feeling is far from what I prefer.

Love or just a crush? Unsure.

She brings weakness to my heart’s agility.

I am slowly stepping instead of falling for her.

This feeling is far from what I prefer.
