Strawberries and Roses

Little ruby beads
laced across my skin
in perfect little lines
it’s so good it must be sin.

Tiny cherry droplets
growing on a vine
of licorice and maroon
scarlet-crimson colored twine.

Strawberries and roses
form upon the streaks
of wine and raspberry rows
makes stains upon the sheets.

Miniscule cranberries cakes
in the lines inscribed in pen
marking my mistakes
and that’s how it’ll begin.
