Strength

They say you're strong,

When you've been through something.

I say they're wrong.

I say they know nothing.

What happens when you're forced?

What happens when circumstance takes you?

Are you weak because you're divorced?

Because you didn't follow through?

They say it's wrong,

To steal something.

But they wouldn't be as strong,

If they had nothing.

Survival does not entail strength.

Lack of struggle does not indicate weakness.

A life's value is not its length.

You're strength is your uniqueness.
