Summer

Summer.

Sometimes, if just right,

you can feel the heat of sun rays slap you on the cheek.

Or sitting under a tree watching fireflies light up the night

Like stars twinkling bright.

Time of relaxation

Time of parties

As the sun is our host, the days are filled with fierce presence.

Ice cold drinks

I thank him who has blessed us with a glass of water during the hot summer nights.

A time of communication with the family.

A time of pools and children sitting on the porch eating ice cream.

The rays of the sun dissolves all the shadows in our life’s.

A symbol to not hide, no secrets, no darkness.

Summer brings a time of light, joviality, expression, and wholehearted action.

A time of no school.

Staying up pass ten o’clock.

Summer heat is hard to beat.
