Summer Night

Much of Nature moves at night

Under the dusky night sky, one shining bright star

In the distance it shines down upon us

Whilst frogs move out of their hiding place

Bats navigate and try their flight

The cooler breeze around us

Follows a full and beautiful hazy day

No clouds up high, just the beating sun

Heat and hot air surrounds us

Escape the house, take a walk in the fields,

Strolling across the bridle paths,

Walking away the dark clouds that consume

Feeling happy to be alive

and thanking  God for honouring your deals

The cooler breeze around us

The intensity of the sun, enough to make us grateful

To be alive, to feel the heat

Heat and hot air surrounds us

All calm in the house, it is a time to stop

Reflect on how great you did feel

Despite the heat, it was a wonderful feeling

Feeling good and a calmness all around us

Enjoying a full  summer's day until at least ten o'clock
