Summer on the Southern Coast

Mon, 07/20/2015 - 15:45 -- BlkBelt

Sounds of laughter come from the water.

Rivers, lakes, oceans, and pools.

Attraction of our home.

The taste of sweat tea strong.

Smells of the grills fill our lungs.

Family and friends gather for fun.

Bright colors fill the sky chasing the fallen sun.

Strangers from afar travel to meet the ocean.

Sand and music find a simple harmonic motion.

But when the leaves begin to turn and our home returns quiet,

the memories will not fade like the climate.
