The Sun

You are the sun

That brings life to the land

From which I was gone

Now I'm back in your strand

The roses in my heart bloom

My sunflowers lust for you

Able to destroy all gloom

You're such a magnificent view

My skin craves your touch

My grasses reach for you

My trees love you much

My skies you turn blue

You are the sun

Made for my land

Like you there's none

Will you grab my hand?
