The Sunflower

Mon, 09/30/2013 - 17:01 -- Qatie

The sun and a flower met oneday

admiring one another's beauty

and they loved each other, oh so much

that they were the other one's, truely

"Ive lost my way!" the sun proclaimed

when stormclouds did hover over

"but trust in time, you will be mine!"

and the flower grew ever older

"i love you. I love you. i promse i do"

said the delicate flower

and they loved each other forever and ever

even throughout the rain showers

"so long it has been"

cried the sun through the wind

and then the flower whispered back to the sun

"One day we'll embrace in one another's grace"

and on that day, the two became one.
