Sunshine

Sat, 04/27/2019 - 00:28 -- libs

Looking through the mountains and dreaming about what the world has in store for me

feels like the pure bliss of eating fresh strawberries from my family's garden on a hot summers day

Remembering the innocence of a bright young heart,

eager to love,

eager to learn.

Disheartened by lost chances and passed friendships,

I walked through the beginning of my "prime"

overworked,

overachieving.

Through older eyes I now see how much life has been beautiful,

what is faithful and true.

What God has in store for me.

And these blessings have brought sunshine into my heart,

leaving me eager to love,

eager to learn.
