Swallow Me

Please chair swallow me

eat me whole

thump thump

my heart beating beating the wall of containment

Drowning out those around me

Soon it will all sink in

hands clamp around my chest and squeezes

suffocating any breath I were to try to grasp

Tears will fight to fall

descending upon this fire of dismay

Please chair swallow me

eat me whole

They all stare

Is something wrong

The walls creep

a barricade keeping me prisoner

self destruction arrives

waves ripple throughout my body

the earthquake of a panicked soul

Please chair swallow me

Eat me whole

Hide me from these monsters

my tan flesh develops rivers of scarlett

as nails devour my composure

The tears have fallen they have won

There knowing glances burn

Yet they know nothing

I have done no wrong

So swallow me chair

Eat me whole

Steal me from this judgemental world
