Take Me

In woe and misery do I reside.

In disarray my life to be unfree,

From pains sorrow and disbelief inside,

The future dark and bleak no hope to be.

I’m numb and weak, my soul is full of strife,

A part of me is lost, so I am told,

Death offers a far better deal than life,

I’m frozen in a world so cruel and cold.

I stand alone on that cold wither day

The wind blew and the rain began to fall

Why is death greedy, to take love away

Here in the ground she lays, I am appalled

Now only a stone to remember you

Life can’t replace you, can you take me too.
