Take my whole life

Fri, 01/22/2016 - 22:34 -- pdowker

My last breath is yours

Take my heart beat from under my breast

Take my life

I wouldn't want any of it anyways without your presence

Fire burns the human flesh but life without you

Burns my soul

I wouldn't see a sliver of light if you were not there to illuminate my earthly skies

Stormy days would turn to the pits of darkness of the night

The day you left was the day I decided

My inside would die and outside would become numb

Staring became my only sense of sight

Breathing became a voluntary reaction

"Remember my dear child

Breath

Breath lighly

Breath with consistance"

I will love you in your

Darkest times

I will love you even when the favor isn't returned

Back to me.
