Taken For Granted

Location

Life is so short, and we all know that.

But when we realize it, it’s too late to turn back.

We spend all our lives thinking we’ll never grow old,

yet we always do,

letting our futures unfold.

Knowledge, wisdom, stamina and strength

are very few things that take us the full length.

What truly matters in the end though, is the same for us all.

It is not our climb to victory, but our greatest fall.

We learn so much from every detail,

whether from nature, family, or if they just happen to prevail.

Things that bring us closer to our goal,

we always remember as we continue our lifelong stroll.
