Tea Day

Tea Day

Look at her in pretty dress

cream bright drapery in her teeny waist with

red flowers blending in the papery.

Look at her in pretty hat, red as her lips

showered with pearls matching her bright smile.

Look at her as happy as she can be

with her glamorous friends.

"Add sugar to your tea" she says,

sweet tea to shine your day.

"I ordered a scone for you" she says,

tea without scones is no tea.

Elegant cups of tea adorning the table

finger food enticing taste buds

minuscule cupcakes and brownies

delight sweet treats.

There is so much to say

too much to share

not enough time

tea time is gone.
