Teacher, Teacher

Teacher, teacher please

This classroom is more that what it seems.

I'm not only here to learn, but this is where I can be me.

Teacher, teacher please

Understand my needs, this world can be cruel and harsh; it'll chew me up and sneeze.

Teacher, teacher please

Sex provokes me constantly.

Math is cool, but out there one plus one equals three.

Teacher, teacher please

I'm asking you nicely.

Show me how to value what's in my head more than what's in between my knees.

Teacher, teacher please

Don't just leave me be; you and I both know life can be one son of a beep.

Teacher, teacher please

The stats are waiting. Welfare is not fair to a kid with a destiny.

Teacher, teacher please

Say something impacting.

Tell me my dreams arent stupid, tell me there's nothing I can't achieve.

Teacher, teacher please

I'm not one ot beg or plead.

If you refuse to acknowledge your task at hand, dont pass judgement when you see my swollen tummy.

I really wanted to emphasize the importance of the teacher/student relationship. I truly believe that if our teachers teach life lessons and encourage the youth of today, they will be inspired to get their priorities in order.
