Tears

Secretions of saline

Extensions of the soul

Keeping clear of foreign bodies

Losing them to keep you whole.

Funny how that’s their purpose, but letting one go is like losing part of your soul.

But without tears, the torrent

tearing of my heart  would happen all too frequent,

the situation then becomes tears? Or tears?

Watch your soul deplete, to dwindle

or your heart to distress, snatched violently & pulled apart,

only to be left ragged

Left in tatters as a cloth trapped in a river bed, enshrined by grief, sorrow.

Drowned by tears.

God gets scared too, sometimes.

Guess that’s why I feel at peace whenever it rains.

Rain drops are God’s teardrops.

Monsoons are just god’s way of shedding his tears, sharing his fears.

Saying, “its okay. We’ll weather the storm together.”

And I accept.

Acknowledging, wholeheartedly, that shedding painful tears

because of him is never a possibility.

He accepts my tears, I indulge in his.

My soul is one, no longer depleted.

No longer tearing while tearing.

Nirvana in Niagra.
