Tell Me What I Must Do

Location

From Mommy's point of view,

Man would it suck to take care of you,

Every day and every night,

You'll never be able to "Just grab a bite."

I'm so sorry that it is you,

Now tell me what I must do

To keep the Grim Reaper away from you.

Prick your finger, check the number;

Now go on back into your slumber

Don't let testing wake you little body,

Sometimes though we'll have to check your potty!

I'm so sorry that it is you,

Now tell me what I must do

To keep the Grim Reaper away form you.

No one know why it was you

But we'll all be here stuck like glue,

To check your sugar or give that shot.

Giving up or checking out are options? NOT!

I'm so sorry that it is you,

Now tell me what I must do

To keep the Grim Reaper away from you.

If you're too high we'll give you water,

If you're too low candy's no bother.

Someday maybe there'll be a cure,

The pain and tears will then be a blur.

I'm so sorry that it is you,

Now tell me what I must do

To keep the Grim Reaper away from you.
